Confucius Institute Scholarship:   


Application period: March – May


Award: Scholarship winners are exempt from registration fees, tuition, fees for basic learning materials, accommodation fees on campus, and are provided with a one-off resettlement subsidy, monthly living allowance, outpatient medical service and comprehensive insurance for foreign students studying in China. Monthly living allowances are provided.


Eligibility:

Ÿ   For those applying for Chinese Language Advanced Study Programs or Master's Program of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.

Ÿ   be non-Chinese citizens;

Ÿ   be in good physical and mental conditions, and with good academic performance and conduct;

Ÿ   be aged between 16 and 35 (Chinese language teachers in post shall be aged below 45, and applicants for BTCSOL scholarship should be aged below 20).

The Nanjing Government Scholarship:   


Application period: March 1st – June 15th


Award:20,000RMB/year for postgraduate and PHD students, 10,000RMB/year for undergraduate student, 5000RMB/semester for non-degree students.

Chinese Government Scholarship-Belt and Road Program:    


Application period: Jan 1st – March 31st


Award: 2500RMB/month for bachelor’s student; 3000RMB/month for master’s students; free tuition and insurance fee.


Eligibility:

Ÿ   Bachelor’s program applicants should be older than 18, younger than 25, and the age limit of the master’s program applicants is 35.

Ÿ   The applicants’ nationalities should be on the list of the 64 countries along the Belt and Road.

 

Ÿ   Bachelor’s program applicants must have completed their high school education, while the master’s program applicants should have obtained a bachelor’s degree.

Chinese Government Scholarship-Nanjing University Postgraduate Program:    


Application period: Jan 1st – March 31st


Award: 3000RMB/month for master’s students or 3500RMB/month for doctoral students; free tuition and insurance fee.


Eligibility:

Ÿ   benon-Chinese citizens and be healthy both physically and mentally.

Ÿ   meet academic background and age limit

Ÿ   meet language requirements
