Scholarships for
International Students
Confucius Institute Scholarship:
Application period: March – May
Award: Scholarship winners are exempt from registration fees, tuition, fees for basic learning materials, accommodation fees on campus, and are provided with a one-off resettlement subsidy, monthly living allowance, outpatient medical service and comprehensive insurance for foreign students studying in China. Monthly living allowances are provided.
Eligibility:
For those applying for Chinese Language Advanced Study Programs or Master's Program of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.
be non-Chinese citizens;
be in good physical and mental conditions, and with good academic performance and conduct;
be aged between 16 and 35 (Chinese language teachers in post shall be aged below 45, and applicants for BTCSOL scholarship should be aged below 20).

The Nanjing Government Scholarship:
Application period: March 1st – June 15th
Award:20,000RMB/year for postgraduate and PHD students, 10,000RMB/year for undergraduate student, 5000RMB/semester for non-degree students.

Chinese Government Scholarship-Belt and Road Program:
Application period: Jan 1st – March 31st
Award: 2500RMB/month for bachelor’s student; 3000RMB/month for master’s students; free tuition and insurance fee.
Eligibility:
Bachelor’s program applicants should be older than 18, younger than 25, and the age limit of the master’s program applicants is 35.
The applicants’ nationalities should be on the list of the 64 countries along the Belt and Road.
Bachelor’s program applicants must have completed their high school education, while the master’s program applicants should have obtained a bachelor’s degree.

Chinese Government Scholarship-Nanjing University Postgraduate Program:
Application period: Jan 1st – March 31st
Award: 3000RMB/month for master’s students or 3500RMB/month for doctoral students; free tuition and insurance fee.
