Outside of class time, Institute for International Students organizes many kinds of recreational and sports activities as well as sightseeing and tours for students. Each departmental student association and graduate student association also organizes events which international students are welcomed to join. 

 

Students may use any sports arena and field in the school, but sometimes may be required to pay a small fee. 

 

Students may also take part in events organized by student social groups.

 

The Institute encourages international students to have friendly relations with Chinese students, teachers and local residents.
