Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clezio, 2008 Nobel Prize Winner of Literature and Scholar in Residence of NJU Institute for Advanced Study, attended the France Week. On November 26, Mr. Le Clezio had a dialogue with Cheung Kong scholar Mr. Xu Jun and professor from the French Department, on “Education and Life”. As scholar in residence, Mr. Le Clezio offered a course on “Multiple Interpretation of Art and Culture” to NJU students. It was the first time a Nobel Prize winner taught a course at a Chinese university. This year, Mr. Le Clezio offered another course on “Interactions between Literature and Movie”.
