School Calendar of Institute for International Students (Aug 2015 ~Jan 2016)
1. Aug 31st –Sep 2nd registration for advanced students of Chinese language.
Sep 7th –Sep 8th registration for diploma students.
2. Sep 3rd –Sep 4th, class assignment exam and orientation for advanced students of Chinese language.
3. Sep 7th, all courses for advanced and undergraduate students（major in Chinese） start. Dec 31st 2015, all courses end. 17weeks in total.
4. Dec 14th –Dec 18th, reviewing and exam week for advanced and undergraduate students of Chinese language. (Students who want to get scores and credits need to take this exam.) Two more weeks for courses after exams.
Jan 4th 2016–Jan 17th 2016, reviewing and exam weeks for advanced and undergraduate students of Chinese language. (Students who want to get credits and undergraduate academic certificates need to take this exam.)
5. Aug 31st, all courses for other non-Chinese language undergraduate/graduate students start. Dec 31st 2015, all courses end. 18 weeks in total.
Jan 4th 2016–Jan 19th 2016, exams.
6. Application for extension of the duration of study should be reported before Dec 23rd.
7. For graduating students, all the procedures concerning leaving the school should be completed before Dec 23rd. The certificates will be issued before Dec 23rd as well.
8. Jan 1st 2016, start of winter vacation for advanced students.
Jan 18th 2016, start of winter vacation for graduate/ undergraduate students.
* Degree candidates who study at other departments or institutes should get further information concerning the schedule of study and exams at their own departments or institutes.
* Information about when courses for new undergraduate and graduate students admitted in Sep 2015 start will be notified separately.
