The party began in the students’ activity center on October 9th. After 6:00 pm, All other buddies were coming to the hall gradually and according to the number signals, they found their buddies successfully. Eventually the party started!
At first, David, A represent of AIC Yu Wenwei 、Joy,the chief of OSC Chen Kun and the president of SIECA Guo Weiwen delivered three speeches about welcome and celebrations one by one. So there came the wonderful ceremony.
The Top Ten singers Shen Dan sang the song the Outside World with guitar and Xiang Guohua (Kitty) sang Latch. The passion was set off by our two Top Ten singers. With songs’ promotion, we got further with our buddies and chatted more with them.
Next the exchange student Xavier Delcroix (Long Jiawei) sang with playing the guitar.
Then, folk music team of SIECA executed a piece of music “Cai Wei” with beautiful traditional instruments, making you feel the attraction of an antique Chinese culture.
The youths of Kung Fu association performed Chinese Kong Fu, dancing “marvelous martial art”, composedly, naturally and unrestrainedly. Each gesture was standard and powerful, which made audience applause constantly.
Another exchange student Mathilde sang a Chinese pop song Cao Cao, with a foreign tone deducing chic Chinese pop music.
It is said that Hanfu club have a sense of literature and art, thus dancing “Jiang Yue Chu Zhao Ren” showed their brilliance. Most of the audience were driven by the ancient Chinese beauty.
Matt ended the party shows with three poems. It was tremendous and melodious.
Having watched the wonderful show, everyone was eager to go to the stage for the bunny dance. All buddies rushed to the stage, surrounding as a circle, performed a rabbit dance together.
We took photos to memory these shots. And some desk games could bring more happiness and laughers. Everyone believes sparks of joy were endless spurting in communication freely.
The Buddy Program is an amazing experience that foreign students will find a Chinese friend, as a language partner, or a guide and develop an unforgettable relationship with Chinese students. We hope we all could benefit from such a program.
