Reflection @ NJU Experience Kimberly Tay 郑倩玉 (Singapore) 

Uncertainty overwhelmed me when I first reached Nanjing . All the food, people, places were ‘foreign to me’ and I could not get accustomed to it. The classes, the lectures were quite different from my home country, making me more nervous as the days passed.  

Fortunately, things got much better. I was welcomed by the friendly mentors and professors I met in Nanjing university. They were always more than willing to help me when I faced any difficulties. Besides, I got to try the local Chinese delicacies that I could never experience back in my home country. All the local and international friends I made during this trip is something I never expected! Sharing with one another our local cultures was something I always enjoyed talking to them about. The great experience and exposure I had for this Nanjing university exchange is indescribable with words. All these memories and fun I had would be something that I would never forget. I am glad that I had taken away valuable lessons from Nanjing and given the opportunity, I would love to come to this fantastic place again!
