Yangtze River Delta Economics and Social Development Research Centre of Nanjing University

Founded in February 2001,Yangtze River Delta Economics and Social Development Research Centre of Nanjing University is one of the key research centers commissioned by the Ministry of Education for studies in humanities and social sciences. The Director of the center is Chancellor Hong Yinxing. Research at the center is devoted to social and economic issues of the Yangtze River Delta. The center has successfully hosted 29 Jiangsu Development Forums in the past 15 years. Known as a top think-tank, the center is consulted by Jiangsu Provincial Committee of CPC and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government.
