The research area of the group is organic chemistry, focusing mainly on the synthesis, electrochemical and spectroscopic investigations of functional dyes with interesting photon-electronic properties. The research activities involves:

(1) light converting materials for dye-sensitized solar cells;

(2) highly conjugated porphyrins;

(3) visible/NIR fluorescent probes based on boron-dipyrromethen dyes.
