His recent research is focused on the micro-structural controlling and high technical application of novel molecular sieve-based
functional materials, namely, design and synthesis of functional mesoporous materials such as solid superbasic materials, and
the application of zeolite-based materials in energy and life science. For instance, his study includes (1) Drug release;
(2) CO2-capture over 423 K; (3) Removal of the carcinogens like N-nitrosamines from tobacco smoke.
