Application and Enrollment Steps:
After successfully applying and uploading required documents please post the materials below to the Institute for International Students, Nanjing University (210093, 514 Zeng Xianzi Building, No. 18 Jinyin Street, Nanjing China) in one week and inform us by email.
1. Present Undergraduate degree certificate or education level certificate, undergraduate degree transcript (this year’s graduates can first give expected graduation certificate). These materials should be the original form or a notarized photocopy in English or Chinese. These materials will not be returned.
2. Two letters of recommendation from professors in your academic area of study.
3. Appropriate HSK certification photocopies. Applicants interested in the liberal arts or business schools must demonstrate proficiency of at least New HSK level 5; applicants interested in the science departments must demonstrate proficiency of at least New HSK level 4. *Malaysia, Singapore and other countries who use Chinese as the education language need not demonstrate HSK proficiency.
Nanjing University will select superior students based on applicant’s materials and that year’s available majors, generally before the end of June will post the “Admission Notice” and “Visa Application for Study in China” (JW 202 form).
Those accepted will receive an “Admission Notice” and JW202 form to go to the People’s Republic of China under an X (study) visa.
Accepted persons should bring “Admission Notice”, “Physical Examination Form” (the effective dates are within 6 months) and JW202 form, in accordance with the date on the “Admission Notice” to arrive at the Institute for International Students to enroll. Those unable to arrive within those dates will need to officially ask for leave.
