It is no problem. However, the student should confirm his language level at first. For the regular courses, our university could offer English-taught courses and Chinese-taught courses. If the student would like to take part in the Chinese-taught courses, it is better for him to have the HSK 5 or above. If the student would like to take part in the English-taught courses, he should get a certain level of English, but we don't have a strict requirement on English level.
Just a quick question, are you a student currently rolled in any of NJU's partner university?
If yes, you could contact the international office of your home university. They will give you the detailed instructions of application.
If you are self-paying student and won't be able to apply as an exchange student, please contact Admission Office of Institute for International Students (issd@nju.edu.cn) for more programme details.
Since you are a one-semester (not one year) exchange student, the physical examination is not required.

Exchange students may take the original result of Physical Examination with them to China. We would like to get the scanned copy for files.
