  • Q:
    When can I get my transcript?
    A:

    Chinese language training transcripts will be available before the end of the semester. However, transcripts for content courses will not be ready until September. In particular, graduate course grades tend to be released very late.

    Once the transcript is printed out, our teacher will send it by email to your home university. And if required specially, we can send it to students directly.

    If you need an attestation, we can provide a "certificate of stay" which can certify that you exchanged in Nanjing University.

    If you need the transcript earlier, you can print it by yourselves, or ask a friend still on campus to print it for you on the transcript printer machine.

  • Q:
    At the end of the semester, are we supposed to get back our deposit or insurance money?
    A:

    You can get back your deposit of dorm. However, you cannot get back insurance money. You cannot get the rest of your balance in your campus card, either. However, you can transfer it to another student.

  • Q:
    I have already finished my exchange program. Where could I receive my transcript of records from this semester?
    A:

    Normally, the final transcript will be sent to your home university by the start of next semester. The transcript will included the credits, marks and period of all the courses you've taken in this semester.

  • Q:
    I participated in a one-year exchange program. But I have to give up the second semester because of some issues. What should I do now?
    A:

    It is a pity that you cannot attend the second semester. In terms of the regulation and normal procedure, we need the coordinator of your home university to send us an email to verify the situation. We will help you with the transcript and the other things.

    And you also need to fill in the Procedure for Leaving School-(International Undergraduates) or Procedure for Leaving School-(International Graduates)

  • Q:
    What should I do if I want to apply for an extension of stay at NJU?
    A:

    Exchange students who need to extend duration for one more semester at NJU, should firstly report to us: Section of Student Exchange Programmes, Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges of NJU for the Certificate of Approval.

    After filling in the form, you should submit it to us. (Section of Student Exchange Programs, Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges)
